Stand-up comedian Larry Dean performs his show Hellbent, a riotous hour about refusing to grow up, at the Mayflower Studios.
Larry Dean brings his show Hellbent to Mayflower Studios on Tuesday 3 November, with the set running for a full hour. If you've come across him on Live at the Apollo or QI, that's the same Larry Dean—the Glaswegian stand-up who bills himself as the Gallus Glaswegian Goon.
Hellbent is built around the idea of refusing to grow up. He arrives at the studios recently married and describes himself as emotionally feral, and the hour follows that thread. It's a riotous hour of stand-up, and it's picked up five-star reviews from The Telegraph, Broadway World and The Herald along the way.
Beyond Live at the Apollo and QI, he's appeared on Saturday Night Live and The Royal Variety Performance, so he's no stranger to the bigger stages. Hellbent is the show he's taking on the road, and it's the one that's been gathering those five-star reviews.
