Stand-up comedy show with unscripted, unplanned audience participation, following his sold out Don't Listen To Me UK tour.
Kane Brown brings his new show, Crowd Work King, to Mayflower Studios on Saturday 10 October. It's his first date back in the UK since his sold-out Don't Listen To Me tour, and it's a completely different beast from that one. While the tour had a set list to follow, this show is built entirely around spontaneous, unplanned audience interaction. About an hour of the comedy is made up on the spot in the room, which means no two nights are the same.
Brown has built his reputation on that kind of off-the-cuff stuff. He's billed as the 'king of spontaneous comedy' and described as a fearless, honest, energetic and quick-witted comic. The Comedy Store called him 'the owner of the stage', and Guz Khan described him as 'the most naturally talented standup with a crowd I've ever seen'. If you've seen him before, this is the side of his act that usually happens in the gaps between the jokes, now taking centre stage.
The whole night runs to around an hour and 40 minutes, including an interval and a support act by one of the UK's funniest comedians. The show is recommended for ages 16 and over.
