Inside Out 2

Inside Out 2 is screening at Showcase Cinema De Lux on Saturday 17 October, with the session starting at 10am. It's the second Disney and Pixar outing in the series, directed by Kelsey Mann, and it returns to the mind of Riley, who's now a teenager.

If you remember the first one, you'll know the setup: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust are the emotions running the show inside Riley's head. This time around, they've got company. Riley's dealing with a new Emotion, Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, and she's not exactly the type to sit quietly in the background. Director Kelsey Mann describes Anxiety as not really the type to take a back seat inside headquarters, which gives you a fair idea of how she's going to shake things up for the rest of the crew.

Behind the voices, it's a familiar cast returning alongside the new arrival. Amy Poehler is back as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Maya Hawke takes over the role of Anxiety, and the story follows how she fits in with the emotions we already know as Riley navigates the teenage years.

It's a morning screening, so it's a good one for a family trip or if you're looking to get it sorted early in the day. You'll find Showcase Cinema De Lux on Level 4 of the West Quay Shopping Centre in Southampton, SO15 1QF, with the session starting at 10am on Saturday 17 October.
