London singer-songwriter ELI performs live at the intimate Heartbreakers venue, blending pop, R&B and electronic influences with heartfelt lyrics.
ELI brings his This Song tour to Heartbreakers on Thursday 13 August, playing the upstairs room. He's a London singer-songwriter whose sound pulls from pop, R&B and electronic influences, and he describes it as both nostalgic and new, with heartfelt and rebelliously vulnerable lyrics sitting atop a wall of pop production. The tour celebrates Dork Mode RAW, the acoustic follow-up project to his previous work.
Much of that sound comes from his parents' record collection, which spans Prince, Whitney Houston and Radiohead, and his stage presence carries the influence of Prince, The 1975 and classic soul. He performs with a full band and writes about identity, queerness and growing up. His early singles include Dummy, 15 + Alive and Imagination, while Rough and Slow earned BBC Radio 1 support from Jess Iszatt and his Mahogany Session racked up over 150k views in its first month. His latest release, DELUSIONAL, was mixed by Richard Wilkinson, who has worked with Adele, Amy Winehouse and Kaiser Chiefs, and it featured on Apple Music's New Music Daily and New In Pop.

The Heartbreakers upstairs room is an intimate 100-capacity space, so it's a small one. Doors open at 19:00 and the show starts at 19:30. Tickets are £14.38 for general admission, and it's a 16+ show, so you'll need to bring photo ID.
