Post-punk band Chameleons mark their 45th anniversary with a live show at Engine Rooms, with special guests Lol Tolhurst and B-Movie.
Chameleons are playing Engine Rooms on Saturday 24 October, their first Southampton date in a while. It's a milestone show: the post-punk band are marking their 45th anniversary with this one, so the night is as much about the years behind them as the set on the night.
They're not coming alone. Lol Tolhurst is on the bill as a special guest, and B-Movie are in the mix too, so there's more than one act to get through before the main set. It's a full bill rather than just a headliner and a quick opener, which means you'll be in for a few hours of music rather than just one band and a short support.
The venue is Engine Rooms, over on West Quay Road Industrial Estate in the SO15 1GZ area. It's a standing-room gig, so if you're planning on being right at the front, it's worth getting there a bit earlier. Doors open at 19:00, and the whole thing is scheduled to wrap up by 22:00, so it's an evening that starts and finishes within a reasonable window.
