Batman Begins

Batman Begins is screening at Showcase Cinema de Lux on Saturday 10 October. It's the first film in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, the one that takes Bruce Wayne back to the beginning, and it's playing on the big screen in the heart of the city.

If you're not familiar with the venue, Showcase Cinema de Lux is up on Level 4 of Westquay South in Southampton (SO15 1DE). It's a proper cinema setup: Dolby Atmos for the sound, laser projection for the picture, and fully customisable recliner seating in every screen, so you can stretch out for the full runtime. There's also the VIP Gallery bar, the Mayflower bar, which does refillable popcorn and a complimentary welcome drink if you're going for the VIP experience.

Beyond the main screenings, the cinema runs Sensory Friendly Screenings every Sunday at 10:30am, which are designed for people who find standard cinema environments a bit much. It's worth keeping in mind if you're planning more than one trip to the cinema over the coming weeks.
