Danish death metal band Baest perform live at The Joiners as part of their Colossal European Headline Tour 2026.
Baest play The Joiners on Tuesday 29 September, part of their Colossal European Headline Tour 2026. They're a Danish death metal outfit, and this is their only Southampton date on the run.
The set is built around Colossal, the album they released in August 2025. It's a bit of a shift from their earlier records — Paul Hutchings of MetalTalk called it lighter than their previous work, but still "heavy as a bus full of elephants" and high-quality heavy metal. That's the record they're touring, so you'll hear it in full, alongside the older material they've built their name on. It's a headline tour, so they're the only name on the bill.
If you're not familiar with them, Baest are a Danish death metal powerhouse, and Colossal is the latest chapter. The tour takes them across Europe, with this Southampton stop being one of the dates. It's a good chance to hear the new songs live, and to see where they've gone since the earlier records.
