If you have not been to Casa Brasil in a while, it is worth knowing the place has moved. After twelve years in Southampton, the Brazilian restaurant opened its current home in Ocean Village on 22 January 2026, exactly twelve years to the day after its first site on Oxford Street first opened. It now sits at Ironside House, within the Canute Pavilion Car Park, in the mixed-use marina development at the mouth of the River Itchen. The business also runs a branch over in Port Solent, Portsmouth.

The format is the one most people associate with Brazilian steakhouses: rodizio, the all-you-can-eat barbecue where skewers of meat are brought to the table, alongside an unlimited spread of hot and cold tapas-style dishes and desserts. The meat line-up covers sirloin, filet américain, lamb leg, pork loin, chicken, turkey, and chicken hearts, with a salad buffet, macaroni cheese, Brazilian rice, fried banana, and a dessert spread that includes passion fruit mousse, grilled pineapple, pineapple cake, brownies and queijada. Among the tapas you will find feijoada, carreteiro rice, fried plantain, creamy mushrooms, corn on the cob and grilled chorizo. Drinks range from wine, lager and sangria to coffee, malteadas and juice.
Price is the main thing to get straight before you book, because it changes by the hour. Lunch price runs until 16:30, and dinner price kicks in after that. On Friday and Saturday lunch is £24.95 a head, rising to £34.50 on bank holidays. Dinner is more expensive: £36.50 Monday to Thursday, £37.95 on Friday and £39.95 on Saturday, with Sunday and bank holidays at £34.50. Each includes the unlimited salad buffet, hot tapas and cold dessert buffet. There are a couple of cheaper midweek options if you are happy to commit the whole table to one thing: a chicken or turkey dinner BBQ on Mondays and a pork one on Tuesdays, both at £22.95. For those not after meat, there is a grilled vegetable and halloumi skewer at £24.95 or spinach and ricotta tortellini in pesto and mushroom sauce at £22.95, both recommended for at least twenty minutes. A tiger prawn skewer is £33.95 as a main or £22.95 to share as an add-on.
Families are well looked after here. Children aged 0 to 5 eat free, one per full-paying adult, and 6 to 12s are half price. The catch is that groups of children without a full-paying adult can only dine between 12:00 and 17:00; from 17:00 onwards, a child must be with a full-paying adult to get the half-price rate. And if your birthday falls on a day you can get a group of four or more together, you can eat for free with the full rodizio, premium meats, tapas and dessert, provided you register for a voucher online with your date of birth and book at least 48 hours ahead. It does not run on New Year's Eve, Mother's Day, Father's Day or Valentine's Day, and you will need photo ID.
Practicalities are easy enough. Paid parking is right there at the Pavilion Car Park, and the nearby Ocean Way Car Park has 776 spaces over six storeys with EV charging. The place is accessible for people with reduced mobility, Wi-Fi and a TV are inside, cards are accepted, and delivery and takeaway are both available. It is open 16:30 to 21:00 Monday to Thursday, 12:00 to 22:00 Friday and Saturday, and 12:00 to 21:00 on Sundays and bank holidays.
