Live show by The Rosadocs, the four-piece indie/alt-rock band from the Sheffield area, at the Crookes Social Club.
The Rosadocs play Crookes Social Club on Wednesday 4 November, their first Sheffield date in a while. They're a four-piece indie/alt-rock band from the city, and the line-up on the night is the one that's been with them since the start: Keelan Graney on lead vocals and guitar, Joe Egan on guitar and backing vocals, Adam Sleight on bass and backing vocals, and Callum Raynor on drums.
They formed back in 2017, when frontman Keelan Graney found Joe Egan through a musicians-wanted page. From there, Joe brought in Adam Sleight on bass, and Callum Raynor joined on drums to round out the four. Their debut single, 'No.54', got a good reception and became a bit of a staple at their shows. 2018 was their breakthrough year: their first headline show sold out in a single day, they played Tramlines and Mosborough Music Festival, and a second headline show at Sheffield's Leadmill sold out in a matter of weeks.
They've spent time supporting bigger names around the city, too. They played a sold-out hometown show with The Sherlocks at the O2 Academy, and opened for Louis Berry at his Foundry/Student Union date in 2017. As for what they sound like, they describe their influences as running from the 1960s right through to the present, so the set should pull from a fair few decades.
