Free neighbourhood co-design space at Bramall Lane where residents, community groups, schools and sports clubs share ideas to shape the future of their area.
Sport England is running a Neighbourhood Co-Design Space at Bramall Lane on Tuesday 3 November, from 11am to 2pm, with doors opening at 10.30am. It's part of their Place Expansion Programme, and the whole thing is free to attend.
If you're not sure what a Co-Design Space is, the organisers describe it as a welcoming, informal setting where local residents, community and voluntary groups, faith organisations, sports clubs, schools, health and wellbeing organisations, and local businesses can come together. The idea is to share local insight and lived experience, explore ideas and challenges, and connect with other people active in the community. It's a space to talk about what's happening on the ground and help shape the future of the neighbourhood.
One thing they're quite clear about: this isn't a steering group for a programme. It's a neighbourhood space designed to support communities in shaping their own future, and what comes out of it influences future activity, investment, and opportunities. So it's less about following a set agenda and more about bringing your own perspective to the table.
