Sky Bet Championship football match between Sheffield United and Middlesbrough at Bramall Lane.
Sheffield United take on Middlesbrough at Bramall Lane on Saturday 26 December, with kick-off at 12:30pm. It's a Boxing Day fixture, so it's one of those traditional holiday games that falls right in the middle of the break.
On the pitch, it's Round 23 of the Sky Bet Championship, part of the English Football League season. The match is played on a grass surface at Bramall Lane, which holds 32,702. If you're heading down, that's the one in the heart of the city, so it's easy enough to get to from anywhere in Sheffield.
There's a bit of a gap in the head-to-head record that's worth knowing before the game. Middlesbrough have had the better of it over the years, with nine wins to Sheffield United's four, and only one draw between them. That puts the visitors in the stronger position on paper, though that's exactly the kind of thing the home side will be looking to turn around on their own turf.
