Britain's Strongest Man returns to Sheffield as part of the Giants Live Official Strongman World Tour, featuring twelve of Britain's strongest athletes competing in power tests.
Britain's Strongest Man returns to the Utilita Arena Sheffield on Saturday 6 February 2027, and it's more than just a one-off night. It kicks off the Giants Live Official Strongman World Tour 2027, so this is the show that gets the whole tour moving.
If you've never seen it live, the format is straightforward: twelve of Britain's strongest athletes go head-to-head across five tests of power. The one who comes out on top takes the title. It's filmed for Channel 5 every year, and it's the only way to qualify for the World's Strongest Man, so there's a real prize on the line beyond the trophy. The organisers describe it as a family-friendly show, and that's a fair shout — it's as much about the spectacle of seeing people lift things they have no right to move as it is about the competition itself.
The line-up is already taking shape, with Adam Bishop, Luke Stoltman, Tom Stoltman, Luke Richardson, Paddy Haynes and Gavin Bilton among the twelve athletes competing. The Stoltmans are a big draw here, and seeing them both on the same stage is half the fun. They'll be joined by the rest of the field, all fighting for that single qualifying spot.

If you want to get close to the action, there are VIP Gold and VIP Silver packages that put you inches away from the competitors. Those come with a chance to hear from strongman legends and a meet-and-greet with the stars after the show. If you can't make it down to the arena in person, the whole event is available by livestream, so you can watch it from home. The venue is the Utilita Arena Sheffield on Broughton Lane, S9 2DF.
