Emo/pop punk band Youth Fountain performs at The Sunset Tavern with guest act Relate.
Youth Fountain play The Sunset Tavern on Friday, January 22, 2027, with Relate opening. It's a Ballard show presented by the venue itself, and the lineup puts the Vancouver band at the center of the bill.
Youth Fountain are an emo/pop punk band from Vancouver, B.C., fronted by Tyler Zanon, a Vancouver native. They describe their sound as sitting at the crossroads of melodic hardcore, emo, and pop punk—three styles that overlap plenty, but each brings its own thing to the table. The melodic hardcore side leans into the faster, heavier energy; the emo brings the melodic hooks and the emotional weight; and the pop punk keeps it catchy. It's a sound that fits right into the emo and pop punk tradition, and it's what they'll be bringing to the Sunset Tavern stage.
There's a new record on the horizon, too. The band is due to release IF WE COULD MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE in 2027, so this show comes as they're moving toward that release. Relate opens the night, and the whole evening is presented by The Sunset Tavern.
