Electronic music performance by WUKI at the WAMU Theater as part of the BOO SEATTLE festival.
WUKI plays the WAMU Theater on Saturday, October 31, as part of the BOO SEATTLE festival. The festival runs from October 30 to 31, so if you're planning to make a weekend of it, there's more going on than just this one night. WUKI's set is also a stop on a wider 2026 tour across the United States, which means this is one of several cities he's hitting this year.
For those who don't know him, WUKI is the solo project of Los Angeles-based producer Kris Barman. He's originally from Denver, Colorado, and he builds his sound around Detroit ghettotech and Chicago footwork—two styles that lean hard into the dancefloor. From there, he mixes in booty, breaks, electro, and house to make what he describes as hard-hitting club-shakers. It's music that lives in the club, and that's exactly where it's meant to be heard.
He's spent a good part of his career working with some of the biggest names in electronic music, putting out official remixes for The Chainsmokers, RL Grime, Kill The Noise, and Galantis. His own releases have come out on labels like Mad Decent and OWSLA, so he's well-connected within the scene. If you've heard his remixes but haven't caught him live, this is a good chance to see how those club-ready sounds translate to a full set.
