World Ballet Company presents a Broadway-calibre staging of the iconic ballet Swan Lake, set to Tchaikovsky's score with a live orchestra and lavish sets.
World Ballet Company brings Swan Lake to The Paramount Theatre on Friday, November 13, 2026. It's the world's most iconic ballet, and they're doing it with a full live orchestra on stage, not a recording. The company bills this as a Broadway-calibre staging, and the scale backs that up: around 50 dancers, lavish hand-painted sets, and Tchaikovsky's score played live.
The story is one you likely already know. Prince Siegfried falls for Princess Odette, whom the sorcerer Rothbart has turned into a swan. The Black Swan, Odile, steps in to seduce the Prince, and the tragedy unravels from there before the epilogue brings it to a close. World Ballet Company is known for its approach to classical ballet—telling these stories through dance—and its dancers have a reputation for technical skill that holds up in top venues around the world.
Leading the cast are Liudmila Ulantsava, Lina Sheveleva, Georgii Stelmakh, Denis Golov, Kseniia Abdulkarimova, and Konstantin Geronik. With about 50 dancers on stage, it's a full-company production rather than a small ensemble.
