Wisp

Wisp plays the Climate Pledge Arena Garage on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 8 PM. She's opening for Beabadoobee, so it's a double bill rather than a solo night. The show is billed as rock and shoegaze, which fits the sound she's been building over the last few years.

Wisp is the stage name of Natalie R. Lu, a shoegaze musician from San Francisco. Her debut single, "Your Face," came out on April 4, 2023, and her songs have since built a following on TikTok. Her first EP, Pandora, followed on April 5, 2024. If you've come to her through those clips, this is a chance to hear the songs in a live setting.

Her sound draws on bands like Whirr, Title Fight, and Cocteau Twins—the heavy, distorted guitar walls of the former two paired with the melodic, ethereal vocals of the latter. It's that classic shoegaze mix: loud, hazy, and melodic all at once. In March 2024, Jonah Krueger of Consequence called her "the next leader of the shoegaze revival," a title that puts her in the company of the genre's current wave of new arrivals.

Between the two acts, you'll get a full evening of music. Wisp opens, and Beabadoobee headlines. The show is at the Climate Pledge Arena Garage, 334 First Ave N, in Seattle, starting at 8 PM on Thursday, October 29.
