A full band show from Where's Beth featuring new material, with performances by Lilly Miller and Coach Phillips at the historic Tractor Tavern.
Coach Phillips plays the Tractor Tavern on Thursday, October 22, with Where's Beth and Lilly Miller sharing the bill. The night is billed as a full band show from Where's Beth, who are debuting material from their upcoming record, so it's one of those dates where you'll hear new songs before they're officially out.
Where's Beth will be out in full force for the set, with Jesse Thorson, Sean Collopy, and Young Reb on stage. It's a full band lineup rather than a stripped-back one, and since they're playing through material from a record that hasn't been released yet, the set should lean pretty heavily on the new stuff. Lilly Miller and Coach Phillips round out the bill, making it a three-act night.
For some context on the name on the marquee, Coach Phillips formed in 2017 out of a series of Seattle house shows. They spent most of 2018 playing in support of Learning How to Swim, an EP they recorded at home and released themselves, which picked up radio play and made it into NPR Music's 2018 'Heavy Rotation' series. Their debut LP, Never Is Enough, followed in June 2019 on the Seattle independent label Den Tapes. If you've followed them from the house show days, this is a chance to see them back in a proper room.
