Wesley Joseph presents his debut album 'Forever Ends Someday' live at Barboza.
Wesley Joseph plays Barboza on Monday, October 19, at 7 PM. He's bringing his debut album, Forever Ends Someday, to the stage, and the set is built around it.
If you're not familiar, Joseph is a Walsall-born, London-based polymath who works in both music and filmmaking. His sound pulls from alternative R&B, rap, soul, and electronic music, and he's known for a cinematic approach to how he puts songs together. Forever Ends Someday is his first full-length album, and this show is the live presentation of that record.
He's been active for a while before this one. His discography includes ULTRAMARINE and GLOW, and you might recognize songs like "Ghostin'" and "Patience," the latter featuring Jorja Smith. He's also worked with Loyle Carner and Danny Brown, and he's as much a filmmaker as he is a musician, which tends to show up in the way he structures his work.
