Tito Padrino, with Del Vox and Kevin Moan & The Howling

Tito Padrino plays The Funhouse on Wednesday, October 7, with Del Vox and Kevin Moan & The Howling opening the night. Padrino is coming in from Portland, Oregon, and the whole bill is 21+.

If you're not familiar with him, Padrino describes his own sound as "volcanic rock" — gritty, witty, and rousing. The labels that usually stick to him are rock, alternative, rock n roll, and indie rock, so it's the kind of set that sits comfortably in that guitar-driven territory. He's the main draw here, and he's sharing the stage with Del Vox and Kevin Moan & The Howling, who'll get the night moving before he takes over.

The venue is The Funhouse, part of the El Corazon on Eastlake Avenue East. It's a spot that's been a fixture of the city's live scene for a long time, and this particular night is billed as a 21+ show, so make sure you've got your ID on you before you head over.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the music starts at 8 PM. Tickets are $16.55, and since it's a Wednesday night, you'll have the whole evening to work around it.
