Tinlicker perform live with their signature blend of electronic music and real instruments, including strings, keys and horns.
Tinlicker play Showbox SoDo on Saturday, October 17, with Helsloot opening. It's a live show, not a DJ set, and it comes at a time when the duo has moved their sound well beyond the dance floor.
They've spent more than a decade building a following by bringing real instruments—strings, keys, and horns—into their electronic music, a move that sets them apart from more traditional dance acts. Their breakthrough came in 2021 with the single "Because You Move Me," which has since passed a billion streams. Since then, they left Anjunadeep for PIAS and shifted from DJ sets to live band performances, a trajectory that culminated in their 2024 album Cold Enough For Snow. That record includes "Blowfish," which they produced with the Metropole Orkest, a jazz and pop orchestra based in the Netherlands.
In 2025, Hero Baldwin joined as both a live and studio member, and the group opened the fourth chapter of their album work with the single "I Want My Freedom." A wide-reaching European and UK tour is set to begin in the spring of 2026, so this Seattle date puts them on the other side of the Atlantic before that run kicks off.
