The Tractor Presents: Jackie Evans

Jackie Evans plays the Tractor Tavern on Tuesday, October 13, as part of the venue's The Tractor Presents series. It's a single-bill night, so Evans is the only name on the marquee.

If you're not already familiar, Evans is a singer-songwriter whose work sits in that quiet, textural space where folk and indie rock overlap. The set is built around the songs, and the focus stays there throughout the evening. It's the kind of show that works best when you're paying attention to the lyrics and the way the songs are put together, rather than something to have on in the background.

The venue is the Tractor Tavern, over in Ballard at 5213 Ballard Ave NW. It's a spot known for hosting a steady stream of touring acts and local songwriters, and this date fits right into that tradition. With Evans as the sole feature, the night is straightforward: one artist, one stage, and a full set.

It all goes down on Tuesday, October 13, with the music starting at 8 PM. If you're planning to head up to Ballard for it, keep in mind it's a Tuesday night, so you'll want to time your arrival around that start time. The show is at the Tractor Tavern, 5213 Ballard Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107, and it kicks off at 8 PM.
