A restorative sound bath session using crystal singing bowls, led by community partners A Space Inside, in the open studio at the Seattle Art Museum.
The Studio at SAM is hosting a Sound Bowl Healing session on Sunday, November 29, from 3 PM to 4 PM on the fourth floor of the Seattle Art Museum. It's led by community partners A Space Inside, who use crystal singing bowls to create a restorative sound bath. They describe the session as accessible to all, a space to step away from everyday noise and tune inward.
To get the full picture, it helps to know what The Studio at SAM actually is. For the duration of the program, the museum has turned its fourth floor into an open studio where you can watch artists at work, ask them questions, and create alongside them in the print shop. Local artists change every month, and visitors get to run a print to take home. The lounge hosts weekly events, with Member Nights on the second Thursday of each month when SAM members get a free drink and the studio to themselves. The whole program is presented by Microsoft and created in partnership with Partners in Print, with major sponsorship from PNC Bank, and runs from October 1, 2026, to January 10, 2027.

This sound bowl session is one of those weekly lounge events. Because it's a sound bath, you'll want to be comfortable: the museum encourages you to bring your own yoga mat, and it's worth noting that mats are permitted only in the Studio. The session is included with admission, so you just need to RSVP at checkout. It runs from 3 PM to 4 PM on Sunday, November 29, on the fourth floor of the Seattle Art Museum.
