Concert by the Los Angeles ska-punk quartet The Interrupters, with support from Rat Boy and The Bandulus.
The Interrupters play Showbox SODO on Monday, April 26, 2027, with Rat Boy and The Bandulus opening. The show starts at 7 PM.
If you're not familiar with them, The Interrupters are a Los Angeles quartet that formed in 2011. Frontwoman Aimee Interrupter is backed by the Bivona brothers—Kevin on guitar, Justin on bass, and Jesse on drums—who were drawn to the original 2 Tone ska movement and the punk-rock resurgence of the 1990s. Before they met Aimee in 2009, the Bivonas were mainstays of Tim Armstrong's ad hoc band Tim Timebomb And Friends. Armstrong has since been a mentor, producer, and honorary 'fifth Interrupter.'
Their self-titled 2014 debut was followed by Say It Out Loud in 2016 and Fight The Good Fight in 2018, all released on Hellcat, Armstrong's imprint via Epitaph. Since then, they've toured widely, including the Vans Warped Tour and support slots for Rancid, Bad Religion, and Green Day.
