Australian metalcore band The Amity Affliction headline at Showbox SoDo, with support from Blessthefall, Orthodox and Buried in Spring.
The Amity Affliction bring their metalcore to Showbox SoDo on Friday, November 27, 2026, with blessthefall, Orthodox and Buried in Spring opening the bill. The Australian group hails from Brisbane and has spent nearly two decades building a name around highly confessional lyrics and a melody-driven, emo-tinged sound. They emerged in 2008 with their debut Severed Ties and hit their stride in 2012 with their third album, Chasing Ghosts.
Since then, they've put out three ARIA gold-certified albums — Youngbloods (2010), Chasing Ghosts and This Could Be Heartbreak (2016) — and earned a platinum certification for Let The Ocean Take Me (2014). Four consecutive albums debuted at number one on the ARIA chart, and Everyone Loves You... Once You Leave Them (2020) entered at number two as the band returned to a heavier side. With a global stream tally surpassing 460 million, they've become a dominating live act, headlining arena tours and festival bills worldwide.
