Concert by Thao Nguyen, an indie and folk musician from Oakland, California, performing at The Crocodile.
Thao Nguyen plays The Crocodile on Saturday, April 3, 2027. She's an Oakland-based musician, artist, and activist whose work pulls from folk, pop, and rock across indie, indie folk, alternative, and indie rock. You might know her from her time with Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, but she's carved out her own path as a solo artist with thought-provoking lyrics and experimental arrangements. A song like 'Holy Roller' shows off her dynamic range and lyrical depth, and her live performances are known for their raw energy and personal connection.
The Crocodile, at 2505 1st Ave, has been part of Seattle's soundtrack for over 30 years. It's hosted acts like Nirvana, Yoko Ono, Pearl Jam, R.E.M., Lizzo, and Billie Eilish. Inside, it's an intimate, standing-room-only space, and it's a cashless venue, so you'll want to have a card ready for drinks or merch. The show starts at 5 PM.
