A national culinary tasting event featuring TasteTwenty chefs from across the country, with a walk-around tasting at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle.
Taste America: Seattle comes to the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle on Sunday, November 1, as part of the James Beard Foundation's national culinary series. It's presented by American Express and Resy, and the Seattle stop is hosted by the hotel itself. The evening is a walk-around tasting, so you'll be moving from station to station rather than sitting for a single meal.
The night centers on the TasteTwenty, a cohort of chefs representing 20 markets across the country who host dinners and tastings to showcase culinary creativity from all over. For the Seattle stop, TasteTwenty chef Jhonny Reyes of Lenox will be there, and he'll be joined by food stations from local chefs. The 2026-2027 class of TasteTwenty chefs has already been announced, so this is one of the first times the new group will be out in the field.
That's the core of the whole series: the James Beard Foundation brings together chefs, special guests, and diners to celebrate the local independent restaurants that sit at the heart of communities across the country. The TasteTwenty is the engine that drives it, with those 20 chefs taking the lead on the dinners and tastings that make up the tour. The Seattle stop is just one stop in that larger national run.
