A Seattle singer-songwriter duo performing guitar-oriented roots, country, rock and soul songs.
Steve Aliment plays Tim's Tavern on Thursday, October 15, with The Dusty 45s and Annie O'Neill. It's a full-band night for Aliment, who's been a fixture of the Seattle scene for years. He's played in the Rangehoods, No Cheese Please, the Fighting Cocks, and with Denny Blaine, and he cut two EPs with San Francisco's Yanks on the DTI label.
Aliment and Annie O'Neill are a Seattle singer/songwriter duo. They describe their guitar-oriented roots, country, rock and soul songs as drawing vocal harmonies from The Everly Brothers, The Byrds and The Beatles. Since 2020, they've released a steady stream of songs and earned radio play worldwide, from Seattle to Dublin. The full band formed in 2021, adding guitarist Bart Hyde, drummer Perry Morgan, pedal steel guitarist Mark Wuesthoff and Garth Reeves on guitar and mandolin. Their discography includes the LPs 150 Tears (2020), Armadillo Tattoo (2021), Long Way To Go (2023) and fuego (2025), plus O'Neill's solo EP Wild Card (2020).
With the full band on stage, you'll hear the pedal steel and mandolin that flesh out the sound beyond the duo's core. The set will draw from their four LPs, with the most recent, fuego, coming out last year. It's a rootsy, harmony-driven night from a songwriter who's spent a long time working his way through the city's clubs.
