Spike and the Gimme Gimmes

Spike and the Gimme Gimmes play The Showbox on Thursday, December 10, 2026. They're fronted by Sean 'Spike' Slawson, who bills the group as a revolving-door troupe of globe-trotting punk rock figures. The band has drawn from a long list of names across The Ramones, Black Flag, Social Distortion, Rocket From The Crypt, The Damned, Strung Out and No Doubt, with a starring lineup that has included CJ Ramone, 'Swami' John Reis, Andrew 'Pinch' Pinching, Jake Kiley, Dez Cadena, Stacey Dee, Jonny 2 Bags, Dave Hidalgo Jr., Andrew McKeag and Adrian Young. The result is a touring cover band that fuses country crooner with punk rock distortion. The group hails from San Francisco, California.

They aren't playing alone that night. Riverboat Gamblers and Fan Club both open for them, so you'll get three bands on one bill. The Gimme Gimmes are the headliner, and the whole night stays in the punk rock family.

If you're still figuring out the sound, the description tells the story: country crooning meets punk rock distortion. It's a cover band, so they're playing songs you likely already know, just run through that specific filter. The lineup is the main draw here—a rotating cast of figures from some of the biggest names in punk and rock from the last few decades, all coming together under Slawson's lead.

The show is at The Showbox, 1426 1st Ave, in Seattle, on Thursday, December 10, 2026, starting at 7 PM.
