American hardcore/metal band Southpaw FLHC performs live at The Funhouse, supported by Resistor and Resist LA.
Southpaw FLHC play The Funhouse on Tuesday, October 13, as part of the second leg of their Standard 2026 Tour II. They're coming from Jacksonville, Florida, where they've built a sound that pulls from hardcore, punk, metal, and hip-hop. The tour is out in support of their debut full-length album, The Standard, which they released on July 31, 2026, after signing with Spinefarm Records.
They didn't announce these dates in a vacuum, either. The tour came alongside the music video for "Nail In The Coffin," and while they're touring with Arcline, these particular shows bring along two opening acts: Resistor and Resist LA. Resistor is an independent New York metalcore and nu-metalcore band that mixes nu-metal elements with djent-style riffs and heavy breakdowns. Resist LA is a hardcore punk band from the Los Angeles and Orange County underground that blends aggressive "hood music" energy with metallic hardcore riffs. Between the three of them, the bill covers a lot of ground within the heavier end of the spectrum.
