Concert by Shakey Graves with Wild Pink at The Showbox, part of the Fondness, Etc. Tour, with proceeds benefiting the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.
Shakey Graves plays The Showbox on Thursday, October 22, with Wild Pink opening. It's part of his Fondness, Etc. Tour, and a dollar from every ticket goes to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund via PLUS1.
Shakey Graves is the performance moniker of Alejandro Rose-Garcia, who's from Austin, Texas. He's built his following on fan experiences tailored to each listener: burning CDs in personalized bags, staging scavenger hunts that lead to unique tapes, and putting out Bandcamp-exclusive releases—he frames his music as a 'choose your own adventure.' In 2024, he marked the ten-year anniversary of his album And The War Came with a 10 Year Anniversary Edition that gathered never-before-heard demos and b-sides and invited fans to revisit the long-abandoned Music House. That record is a good place to start if you're coming to him for the first time.
