Film screening of Francis Ford Coppola's 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' as part of the SAM Films series, presented in the museum's Art Deco halls.
SAM Films is screening Bram Stoker's Dracula at the Seattle Asian Art Museum on Friday, October 30, from 7 to 9:30 PM. It's Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 gothic romance, 123 minutes long and rated R, and it's one of eight films in the museum's current series, Excellent Adventures: Celebrating Keanu Reeves, which gathers some of the actor's most iconic and diverse roles.
Coppola's version of the story won three Oscars—for costumes, makeup, and sound editing—and has since become a cult classic. The screening takes place in the Stimson Auditorium, inside the museum's Art Deco halls in Volunteer Park, which the museum bills as a fittingly dramatic backdrop for the film. Drinks and snacks will be available, and seating is first come, first served, so if you're set on a particular spot, you'll want to arrive early.
