Premier craft spirits tasting event with a wide range of Washington distilleries, from gin to whiskey, hosted by the Washington Distillers Guild.
PROOF returns to Old Log Cabin Distillery on Saturday, October 24, from 5 PM to 8 PM. It's the Washington Distillers Guild's premier craft spirits tasting event of the year, and it brings a wide range of Washington distilleries under one roof—gin and whiskey, sure, but amari too. The Guild bills it as a discovery session, a place to taste your way through the state's distilleries and find a few new favorites.
Beyond the tasting, the distilleries sell bottles to take home, including special releases and rare bottlings. The event also works as a fundraiser: additional profits go back to the Guild, a non-profit that supports the state's distilleries with legislative efforts, education, and events. So when you're picking up a bottle, some of that money goes toward the broader craft spirits community in Washington.
The setup is casual. There's pizza by the slice on-site, and plenty of parking alongside and behind the building. Entry is restricted to over-21s.
