Pete Yorn

Pete Yorn plays Chop Suey on Saturday, December 5, 2026, with the show starting at 5 PM. He's touring his new album, All The Beauty, which he recorded and co-produced with Jackson Phillips, also known as Day Wave. Yorn describes the record as a meditation on growth, change, and finding peace in the present moment.

If you're coming to him through this one, it's worth knowing where he fits. Yorn is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who broke through in 2001 with his Columbia Records debut, musicforthemorningafter, which earned RIAA Platinum certification and critical acclaim. He's released eight solo albums since then and is a founding member of The Olms. Along the way, he's collaborated with Frank Black, Peter Buck, Liz Phair, and Scarlett Johansson—their 2009 duet "Break Up" went Platinum in France—and has played Coachella, Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and Austin City Limits.

He's also stepped in front of the camera recently: in 2023, he made his big-screen debut in Martin Scorsese's Killers Of The Flower Moon. So, while All The Beauty is the focus here, it's one part of a career that's moved through platinum records, festival stages, and a role in a Scorsese film.

Chop Suey is at 1325 E Madison St, Seattle, WA 98122. The show starts at 5 PM on Saturday, December 5.
