Progressive metal band Periphery perform live at the historic Moore Theatre in Seattle, with support from Ne Obliviscaris, Greyhaven and Ando San.
Periphery play the Moore Theatre on Friday, November 6, as part of their A Pale White Dot US tour. They're bringing along three support acts for the night: Ne Obliviscaris, Greyhaven, and Ando San.
Periphery are a progressive metal band from Maryland, and they're widely credited as pioneers of djent. Their recent release is Periphery V: Djent Is Not a Genre, a title that doubles as a bit of a statement on the subgenre they helped start. The set should pull from that alongside some of their better-known tracks like "Make Total Destroy," "Blood Eagle," and "Jetpacks Was Yes."
The current lineup is fronted by vocalist Christopher Barretto, with Misha Mansoor, Jake Bowen, Alex Bois, Travis Orbin, and Thomas Murphy rounding out the band. Their work spans experimental, metal, progressive metal, and rock, so the set tends to lean into those heavier, more technical territories.
