British indie rock band Palace perform live at Showbox SoDo, supported by Rollo Doherty.
Palace play Showbox SoDo on Thursday, October 15, with Rollo Doherty opening. The British band is in the middle of a 30-date tour across the US and Canada this autumn, a run that eventually winds up at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
They've been playing together for over a decade, starting as jam sessions between Leo Wyndham, Rupert Turner and Matt Hodges in an airless studio in North London. They've kept a DIY ethos ever since. In 2016 they started Palace Presents as a monthly night at The George Tavern in East London, a collective that grew into something more intentional—Wyndham describes it as a positive and protected space away from the usual music-industry constraints.
Their recent output gives you a good sense of where they're at. In early 2025 they released the Greyhound EP on their own label, and in April 2026 they put out "Kid," a song about longing for a child an ocean away, which the band frames as an affirmation of love rather than sadness. Their sound sits across indie rock, alternative rock and blues rock.
