Olivia O'Brien performs her sophomore album 'PIXIE' live at Neumos in Seattle, with Sophie Cates as the opening act.
Olivia O'Brien plays Neumos on Monday, November 16, as part of The PIXIE Tour, with Sophie Cates opening. The show is all ages to enter, 21 and over to drink, and doors open at 8 PM.
If you've followed her for a while, you know the early stuff. She first made a name for herself with a cover of Avril Lavigne's "complicated" that's since passed 388 million streams, and "hate u love u" with gnash, which went over 1.5 billion streams globally, peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and earned RIAA Gold certification. In 2020, the breakup song "Josslyn" became another watershed moment, leading to appearances on podcasts like Call Her Daddy and The Zach Sang Show and profiles in NYLON, Billboard, COVETEUR, and PAPER.
This summer she returns with her sophomore album PIXIE, a 15-track project she calls her most authentic and assured to date. The 2024 EP everywhere i go, there i am marked a turning point in her sound, shifting from traditional pop toward a more textured, indie-leaning style. PIXIE continues that trajectory, and this tour is built around it.
