Melodic punk band Old Cross performs live with special guests at The Central Saloon, Seattle's historic bar.
Old Cross are playing The Central Saloon on Thursday, October 8, with special guests still to be announced. They're a melodic punk band from Portland, Oregon, and this is a 21+ show.
Their sound draws on the punk and emo scenes of the late 1990s, and they're known for heartfelt, anthemic choruses. They've played everywhere from basement shows and dive bars to national stages, so they're as comfortable in a small room as they are on a bigger one.
The venue is one of the city's oldest bars. Established in 1892, The Central Saloon has survived earthquakes, prohibition, and more than a century of patronage. Its classic mahogany bar still seats blue-collar workers and businessmen side by side, and it's been a part of the neighborhood long before the current scene took root.
