Electronic music performance by nimino at Showbox SoDo in Seattle.
nimino plays Showbox SoDo on Friday, November 13, 2026, starting at 8 PM. It's a house and electronic set from the UK artist, who's signed to Counter, the electronic label run by Ninja Tune.
Behind the name is Milo Evans, who started making music as a teenager in the UK to channel his ADHD, beginning with loop-stitching on an Asus laptop. His first release came in 2013—a slow-motion, bass-inflected take on the Pixies' "Where Is My Mind"—and it earned him Huffington Post's Artist of the Month. In 2020 he launched songs for people you may know, a series of custom songs built from fans' ideas, which led to the 2022 fan favorite "Opening Credits." He describes the nimino character as a symbol for the journey his musical tastes have taken.
His 2024 hit "I Only Smoke When I Drink" has surpassed 250 million streams, charted on the UK Singles Chart, and spent over 20 weeks on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Chart. That was followed by the Creek EP in March 2025. He's played Coachella, Lollapalooza, Leeds Fest, Boomtown, Field Day, Cercle, CRSSD, and Lightning in a Bottle.
