Trivia night with host Elec and Quiz Fix, with six rounds, prizes, and karaoke after.
Monday Night Trivia with Quiz Fix is a weekly fixture at The Octopus Bar in Wallingford, and it's free to play. Registration opens at 6:30 PM, and the game kicks off at 7 PM. The night is run by Quiz Fix and hosted by Elec, who keeps things moving across six rounds of questions, music, and fun—four themed, one audio, and one picture—all shown on the TVs. Teams are capped at six players, so you'll want to gather a small group before you head in.
There's a real prize for the top spots: first place takes home a $50 gift card to The Octopus Bar & The Salty Shack, second gets $30, and third gets $20. If you grab a free RSVP on Eventbrite, you can show your ticket to Elec for a Jell-O shot to start the night, and he's known to surprise a few teams with them as the evening goes on.
The Octopus Bar is a 21+ neighborhood spot at 2121 North 45th Street, a Seattle landmark filled with maritime curiosities, strong cocktails, rotating draft beer, and $6 happy-hour pints. It's got two patios, so there's room to hang out even if you're not in the thick of the trivia. Right next door is The Salty Shack, an attached-but-separate all-ages food business that serves sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, salads, fried favorites, and Lil Matey kids meals until 10 PM—handy if you want to eat before the game or keep the table fueled while you're playing.

Once the trivia wraps up, the night doesn't end there: karaoke by Pat Clark takes over, so you can switch from answering questions to singing your heart out. Seating is first come, first served, and while that free Eventbrite RSVP helps the venue plan, it doesn't reserve a table, so it's a good idea to arrive early if you want to secure a spot for your team.
