Concert by the indie rock project Michigander, fronted by Jason Singer, with support from Chapel at The Sunset Tavern.
Michigander plays The Sunset Tavern on Wednesday, October 7, with Chapel opening. The show is presented by The Crocodile, and it starts at 7:30 PM.
Michigander is the solo project of Jason Singer, who has been releasing music and touring since 2016. He hails from the Great Lakes state, and the project built its following in the Midwest before picking up national coverage in Paste, NPR, NME, and Huffpost. While it started as a solo endeavor, he now performs as a full band.
There's a civic side to the tour, too: the band has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold goes to HeadCount, an organization that uses music and popular culture to register voters and promote civic engagement. Chapel opens the bill, so you'll get two acts in one night.
