University of Washington men's basketball game against Norfolk State, a non-conference home meeting for the Washington Huskies.
The Washington Huskies take on Norfolk State at Alaska Airlines Arena on Sunday, Nov. 29, one of the home non-conference games head coach Danny Sprinkle has lined up for the 2026-27 season. It's a non-conference matchup, so the Huskies will be hosting Norfolk State right here in Seattle.
To get a sense of where this fits in the season, you have to look back a bit. The Huskies open their campaign on Oct. 25 with an exhibition game against Washington State, so by the time Norfolk State comes to town in late November, the team will have been on the court for over a month. This game is one of seven home non-conference games Sprinkle has scheduled out of eleven total regular-season non-conference matchups, meaning the Huskies are spending the bulk of their early schedule playing in front of their own crowd.
There's a fair amount of basketball around the city that month. Just before this game, the Huskies head to the 2026 Southwest Maui Invitational from Nov. 23 to 25, so they'll be coming off a trip to Hawaii when they return to Seattle for this one. A few weeks later, on Dec. 19, the city hosts the inaugural Seattle Holiday Classic, which includes a Seattle U vs. Washington State game.
