Interactive cocktail and mocktail making lab experience in Seattle, run by Greenfire Workshops, where participants invent drinks using experimental gadgets.
Greenfire Workshops are hosting the Mad Scientist Cocktail and Mocktail Lab at 1531 Melrose Ave on Wednesday, October 7. It's a hands-on mixology workshop framed as an experimental lab, and the whole thing is built around you playing and inventing rather than following a strict recipe. You'll have a wide range of ingredients to work with and a kit of gadgets—smoking guns and test tubes among them—to build your own drinks.
One of the best things about the setup is that it's a judgment-free zone. Whether you've never touched a shaker in your life or you've got a home bar you're proud of, you're encouraged to work toward your own mixology goals. You can spend the session refining a single drink or experimenting with a few different ones, and the focus stays on your own process rather than a one-size-fits-all class. It's as much about the making as it is about the drinking.

Because it's a cocktail and mocktail lab, you can go either way—alcoholic or non-alcoholic—so it works whether you're there for the spirits or just the craft. The session is conducted in English, and only guests 21 and over may consume alcoholic beverages. Service animals are welcome. You can find tickets at https://feverup.com/m/166872.
