Love Spells is the project of 21-year-old singer-songwriter Sir Taegen Harris, who was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He works alone on the songs, combining ethereal vocals, delicate percussion, and soothing guitar riffs into a dreamy, nostalgic fusion of indie rock, psychedelia, and dream pop. The songs center on love, intimacy, and heartbreak, and the sound sits right in that hazy, atmospheric space where those three genres overlap.
Coming from Houston to Seattle, Harris brings a particular kind of songwriting to the stage: the kind that leans into mood and texture. The ethereal vocals and soothing guitar riffs are the core of the sound, and the percussion stays delicate rather than driving, keeping the focus on the melodies and the lyrics. It's a set that stays in that dreamy, nostalgic territory throughout, with the themes of love and heartbreak running through the songs.
