Nashville singer-songwriter Liz Longley performs her folk-pop and Americana music with special guest Anna May at The Rabbit Box.
Liz Longley plays The Triple Door on Friday, October 16, with Anna May opening. Longley is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for a voice that stops you in your tracks and a sound that blends folk, pop, and Americana. She's picked up a BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship along the way, and her self-titled debut was called "stunning" by HuffPost.
Her second album, Weightless (2016), was described as "a thing of beauty" by Pop Dose. From there, she moved toward independent releases, and her sixth album, Funeral For My Past, became a bit of a story in its own right: fans raised over $150,000 on Kickstarter to fund it, making her the fourth most funded solo female musician in the platform's history. Forbes and Billboard both took notice.
Becoming a mother in 2022 changed her songwriting, and her upcoming album reflects that new chapter. That's the record she's working toward now, so this show sits right in the middle of that transition. Anna May opens the night.
