Concert by Seattle singer-songwriter Larry Murante at The Musicquarium Lounge, featuring his acoustic rock and folk style.
Larry Murante plays The Triple Door on Thursday, October 22, at 5 PM. He'll be performing in the Musicquarium Lounge, the smaller, more intimate room inside the venue at 216 Union St.
Murante is a Seattle singer-songwriter who's been writing, recording, and touring regionally and nationally for more than three decades. He's released four CDs of original music and has picked up more than two dozen awards along the way, including the Grand Prize of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. His work has also appeared on compilation projects like Christine Lavin's 2010 holiday album Just One Angel, the Seattle Performing Songwriters CD, and Seattle Children's Hospital's Christmas In The Northwest Vol 6.
He's played hundreds of shows across house concerts, festivals, wineries, restaurants, pubs, weddings, churches, and radio interviews, and he often performs with violinist Nati Popova. On the side, he fronts TAYLOR MADE, a seven-piece James Taylor tribute band that works through Taylor's classic songs across twenty-two studio and live albums spanning the 1970s to the present. His own sound runs acoustic, rock, and folk.
