Los Angeles garage rock trio L.A. Witch perform live at Neumos, with King Buffalo as the opening act.
L.A. Witch play Neumos on Wednesday, November 4, as part of their 2026 North American tour, which runs from October 29 to November 21. They're a Los Angeles trio formed in 2013, with Sade Sanchez on guitar and vocals, Irita Pai on bass, and Ellie McLean on drums. Their sound pulls from lo-fi garage rock, surf punk, and psychedelic rock, held together by Sanchez's reverb-drenched riffs and a detached, almost monotone vocal delivery. Their self-titled 2017 debut drew critical attention, and tracks like "Drive Your Car" and "Untitled" have since become live staples. They've played festivals including SXSW and Desert Daze, and they're often compared to The Black Angels, The Growlers, The Velvet Underground, and The Cramps.
Live, the set runs about 60 to 75 minutes in a minimalist, mood-driven setting with dim, often red-hued lighting. Opening for them is King Buffalo, a trio of vocalist and guitarist Sean McVay, bassist Dan Reynolds, and drummer Scott Donaldson, who have toured with Clutch, All Them Witches, and The Sword. Doors open at 7 PM.
