Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Kim Richey performs live at The Rabbit Box, presented by The Triple Door.
Kim Richey plays The Rabbit Box on Friday, October 9, at 7:30 PM. The show is presented by The Triple Door, and it's a solo bill—just Richey on the lineup.
If you're not familiar with her, Richey is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter with a career that stretches back to her self-titled 1995 debut. For most of that time, she's worked in a low-key, friends-in-the-studio way, but there was a notable shift in 1999 when she released Glimmer, produced by Hugh Padgham in New York and London. That record was a more produced affair that sat apart from her usual approach. She eventually returned to her stripped-down mode with 2020's Long Way Back... The Songs of Glimmer, produced by Doug Lancio. She describes Long Way Back as her first collection of true confessionals, and it serves as a companion to the earlier Glimmer.

The show is presented by The Triple Door at The Rabbit Box, a room with booths along the countertops and full table service.
