Concert by the band Juice, which fuses rock, R&B and hip-hop with electric violin, at the Barboza venue.
Juice plays Barboza on Sunday, October 11, with Christopher Blair joining them on the bill. The show starts at 7 PM, and it's a 21-and-over night.
If you haven't come across them yet, Juice is a band that blends rock, pop, R&B, and hip-hop, and the electric violin is a key part of that sound. They formed in Boston while the members were in college, and that same group is still together: Ben Stevens on vocals, Christian Rose on violin and vocals, Kamau Burton on vocals and acoustic guitar, Daniel Moss on guitar, and Rami El-Abidin on bass. With three people handling vocals across the lineup, there's a lot of singing going on, and Rose's violin sits right in the middle of it all.

It's a five-piece band, so you'll get the full sound—vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, and the violin—rather than a stripped-back version. The set is 21+, so bring your ID. Barboza is at 925 E Pike St in Seattle, and the music kicks off at 7 PM.
