Concert by the acclaimed Seattle pianist Josh Rawlings at Bacovino, with free admission.
Josh Rawlings plays Bacovino on Friday, October 16, at 6 PM. It's a solo piano set, and admission is free.
If you've heard of Rawlings but aren't sure where to place him, you probably know his work from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. He's the pianist on Same Love, and Rolling Stone described his piano on Downtown as a "bombastic, theatrical piano breakdown." He toured the US and Europe with Macklemore and has performed alongside Allen Stone and the Northwest supergroup Industrial Revelation. He's also opened for Al Green at Red Rocks Amphitheater and Ryan Auditorium, the original Grand Ole Opry. He's a GRAMMY nominee and a Multi-Platinum Award-winning recording artist and composer, and he's one of the most sought-after performing and studio pianists in the Pacific Northwest.
