Comedy show by Josh Johnson, a former Daily Show correspondent known for satirical comedy and immersive storytelling, at the historic Paramount Theatre.
Josh Johnson brings his Comedy Band Camp to the Paramount Theatre on Friday, November 20, at 10 PM. It's the first of a multi-night run that goes through November 22, so you've got a few dates to choose from if Friday doesn't work.
If you're not already familiar with him, Johnson is an Emmy-nominated writer and a former Daily Show correspondent. He's built his name on sharp, satirical comedy and immersive storytelling—the kind of set that takes a single premise and runs with it until it's something entirely different. His YouTube sets have racked up more than half a billion views, and he picked up an NAACP Image Award for Catfishing the KKK, a storytelling piece that does a lot of the heavy lifting for what he brings to the stage.
The run takes place at the Paramount Theatre, a 2,807-seat venue in downtown Seattle. It's a big room, and since he's playing multiple nights, there's some flexibility in when you catch him. One of those dates is an Open Caption Performance, which is worth keeping in mind if that's something you're looking for.
